Windrush Voices

Windrush Voices asked us to coordinate the live music and provide event production and audio for their event at Full Gospel Revival Centre in Nottingham. The programme brought together live music, film, poetry and conversation, exploring Caribbean life, the journey to Britain, experiences in England, and faith and reflection.

Through Vibe City, we coordinated a four-piece band and three backing vocalists, and helped select music for the programme’s interludes. Through VibeCityTech, we supplied the PA and mixing system and provided live sound engineering. Our work combined advance music and technical planning with event-day production. BaySoundSystems supplied the stage and screen.

We provided two 12-inch main speakers and two 12-inch subwoofers, with two 10-inch speakers used as relays for audience coverage. We used a digital mixing desk and stageboxes for the audio system. Our technical planning covered the live band and backing vocals, alongside the host, spoken contributions and film playback, with our system forming the audio part of the wider production.

We supplied the main PA, subwoofers, relay speakers, digital mixing and stageboxes. Our services covered event music consulting, band and vocalist coordination, production planning, PA hire and live sound engineering.

We delivered music coordination, event production, PA hire and live sound engineering for Windrush Voices on 22 June 2026. The project brought together the two sides of VibeCity: preparing the live music through Vibe City and supporting its delivery through VibeCityTech, alongside the stage and screen supplied by BaySoundSystems.
